Etc. Reo is presented in canon as effeminate and coded as gay. My take on him is that he thinks of himself as a guy who is interested in other men, but dabbles some in drag performance on the downlow; he doesn't necessarily think of himself as a drag queen though and certainly has no aspirations to do so on a larger scale when his sights are so firmly set on a career in sports.

He is grappling with the issues of being coded as effeminate/gay in the world of high school sports in and finding ways to negotiate his gender/sexual identities and expressions in contemporary Japanese society--this is an area I'm especially interested in exploring within RP.
